Nestled in Virginia’s picturesque horse country in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the small town of Middleburg is rich in history and tradition. The site of one of the first battles in the Civil War’s Gettysburg Campaign, Middleburg later became known as America’s fox hunting and steeplechase capital. The surrounding countryside is home to horse farms set along winding roads lined with stone walls, along with several wineries and the luxurious Salamander Resort & Spa.
