It’s been said that Clarendon – with its expanse of restaurants, bars, and entertainment – is known primarily for its lively nightlife. But that’s an oversimplification, kind of like saying Santa Claus is a guy known mainly for never passing up a chance at milk and cookies. In fact, nestled among Clarendon’s retail establishments are pleasant tree-lined neighborhoods, parks, walking trails, and playgrounds. Hosting a Metro station and set near I-66 and Arlington Blvd., Clarendon also offers one of the shortest commutes to DC. Single-family homes (including some old Victorians) and luxury row houses occasionally become available, but the majority of Clarendon’s properties consist of condos.
