Aldie, Virginia

Set in a gap between the Bull Run Mountains and Catoctin Mountains, the historic village of Aldie was established in the early 1800s around the site of a water-powered gristmill. Its historical district, with buildings dating back as far as 1775, features the still operational Aldie Mill and the Civil War era Mt. Zion Church. Active residents of Aldie enjoy access to a variety of hiking trails and parks, as well as the Mosby Cluster of wineries along Route 50. In recent years, Aldie has become one of Virginia’s fastest growing communities, offering a range of options for homebuyers. Most are large single-family homes on generous acreage, but smaller detached houses, townhomes, and condos are also available.
