Scott Petersen is a Northern Virginia native with deep roots in Herndon and the greater Loudoun County area. After graduating from West Virginia University, he built a successful career in outside sales — where his commitment to customer service earned him a reputation for being both highly effective and genuinely easy to work with.
In 2017, Scott turned his long-time interest in real estate into a full-time profession. Since then, he’s built a name for himself as a people-first agent who prioritizes client goals, communicates clearly, and works hard to keep every transaction as smooth and stress-free as possible. His background as a lacrosse athlete and coach shows up in the way he advocates for clients — with focus, discipline, and a quiet competitive edge.
Scott’s also a firm believer in the power of connection. Whether he’s helping a first-time buyer, prepping a listing, or just catching up with past clients, he brings an approachable, grounded energy to everything he does.
When he’s not helping clients, you’ll find Scott outdoors — hiking with his dog, fishing on the Potomac, or smoking meats for friends and family after a successful hunting trip. He’s also spent time traveling and even taught English in Thailand, which gives him a unique perspective on communication and connection across cultures.
